No. I have been driving tiny, fuel efficient cars my whole life and I am finally sick and tired of it. I want something larger, more comfortable, and with a better ride. I am finally willing to sacrifice on the fuel economy to get it.

Paying 500/month to the finance company for 5-7 years to get a few more MPG is called a Stupid Tax!

I get up to 22mpg towing with my suburban when towing. Why would I go smaller?

Cactus, how is that Smart Car working out for you?
Our next car will probably be smaller, since our present car is a Park Avenue. But it will be still have to be as comfortable as the Park Avenue, likely a Chrysler 300. But then that will probably be a while since the Park only has 216,000 miles on it.

Small, 50 mph, cost less than $18,000 and will go 100,000 miles before major repair!

No, my next car will be bigger and it will get worse gas mileage. I currently got a 1.8L I4 engine and my dream car (which is hopefully my next car) has a larger turbocharged 2.5L H4 engine.

Ideally my next car would be a solar-powered electric vehicle and not use gas at all.

I can't get much smaller unless I buy a Smart Car. My daily commuter is pretty small. My roadster convertible is about the same size. Both have engines smaller than 2.0 liters.

No. My next car will be American made like all the cars I purchase the last 30 years of driving. All were GM except one Ford. I purchase the cars that are assembled in the USA with US made engines, transmissions, and the highest parts content I can find. Anything else just helps this country slide further into debt and less jobs. Point said!

Most likely because fuel price won't go down lower such as over $3.00 per gallon during Obama Administration! That's why I re-consider to buy a bit smaller not as too much smaller and better mileage in future.

I currently drive a Chevrolet Equinox with a 3.4 L six cylinder engine that averages 24.7 miles per gallon. This may be my last vehicle, but if it isn't, I would go for better gas mileage (no 4 cylinder), but not smaller in size. I am tall and getting close to retirement -- small cars are too uncomfortable and hard to enter and exit. Also, larger vehicles fair better in accidents.

My next car will probably be the same. I have 105,500 on the car and someone that I just met has 470,000 miles on their Scion xB. Based on that information, I will be keeping mine for a while.

Probably be bigger, and higher mileage, but not looking for one anytime soon. Current have a 2009 Corolla and 2010 Prius. Driving Prius get's me in the 50 MPG range (in warmer above 40 temps).

I bought myself a used Toyota Prius a month ago, and it cost me $26 to fill up a tank [regular] which takes me ~350 miles/tank. Btw, I went from a Benz R350 which cost me $65 to fill up [premium] which takes me ~315 miles/tank. And, I'm shopping for a Honda Pilot meanwhile.

most likely but only because you cant get much bigger of a passenger vehicle than a fullsize 4x4 truck with a 4 door cab.
honestly I was going to buy a Ford Ranger over the truck I have now but my wife INSISTED on fullsize so I was going to go with a reg cab but once again she INSISTED on FULLSIZE of the fullsize.
love her but when it comes to money she seems to think it grows on tree's.
