I seem to be having a problem with posting prices for all 3 grades at a station that has 3 grades. I was wondering if this is an ongoing issue or because I just switched up to the newest version of FireFox that might be part of the problem. I have also somehow added one station's information twice. At least it showed up twice in my "fav" section so I'm not sure if I did this to everyone or just me. Is there a way to delete one? That happened several days ago.

TYVM!

Bingo! That's exactly what it is. My Fav is a saved search, which comes up when I first login to GB and every station I try to input data from that search doesn't allow me to add anything other than the Regular price. I can input from the bottom of the screen where they're all listed and next time I'll try to do it from the top bar to see if that works too. It figures the first way I select is the one way that doesn't seem to work lol....... I'm glad you were able to replicate it!!

Thank you for your time and input! I truly appreciate it. I guess if it's a little glitch in the coding someone can fix it eventually or just not even use that method since there are other ways to get the job done. I emailed the moderator and will email him/her again with this info too.

Thanks!

Okay so I think what you are doing is you have a saved search, your clicking on the update after doing the search and you are getting that screen. At least I got something similar trying to do a search on Escondido and clicking on update for Vons. I couldn't click on Mid, Premium or Diesel either.

Why don't you enter the prices from your favorite stations on the bottom of the screen or try clicking on map next to the station and entering the prices from the map.

Another method would be to click on the Report a Price on the home page, click on all the grades of gas and start entering the address data for the station. The system should suggest stations and auto complete the entry if the station is in the MSL.

The first one is screen print is from when I click on the "Update" word under the price in one of my "Fav's" listed --> That's the screen that I get. And yes, it's from the homepage.
It just pops up. That's what I was trying to do in the beginning all the time because I hadn't scrolled all the way down the page til I saw all the "fav's" listed on the bottom of the page. I had just created all my fav's and then tried clicking on them to enter the data and that's when I was having all sorts of problems. Sometimes it lets me enter data and other times I can't. Not sure why. I should probably ck and see if it's all stations or just certain ones.
Thanks again!

How did you get to that first screen shot? Have you tried posting from the home page?

Thanks Scraphead! I have clicked on those boxes but they're "unclickable"......... Not sure why that is. I can only input the first box........ Strange!!!

Regarding your first screen shot, you have to click on the boxes to the left of Mid, Premium and Diesel to get price boxes to show up.

Regarding your "not matched" stations on your FSL, these stations are not matched to stations in the MSL. This can happen for a variety of reasons, (someone may have changed the MSL entry or you may have a store name while the station is listed under a brand name or the station might be in another area than Escondido as far as GasBuddy is concerned). In the case of the Qwik Korner, your station is in the MSL. If you click on the "not matched" it should bring up a list of suggested stations, including the one you are looking for.

Here are a couple of screen shots of what it looks like when I try to input prices. The first one is a pic of when I click on "update" under the price of one of my fav's listed. I then get that screen and although I can input the first price, the rest cannot be clicked on so therefore cannot be input by me.

The second pic is the list of all my favs and I have all the boxes and I can put in the prices there. My one question would be that I have 2 that say "not matched" so not sure what that's all about. I'm sending another notice to whoever the moderator is but don't seem to get a response. I'm sure they're inundated with "issues".........

Thanks scoutmaster. If you notice anything amiss please let me know and I'll fix it!!

Regards,

In your preferences, do you have all the grades checked?

Unfortunately I can't input from my phone :( So I just old school it with pen/paper til I get home lol....... I'd like to be able to do it on the fly like that but tbh I'm doing good by remembering to charge my phone, turn the ringer back on after I turn it off, remember which car I left it in hahaha...... You get the point!! I'm forever having someone online sending me a msg asking me if I've looked at my phone for messages. Even left it in a hotel this summer while on a cross country trip ----- Ooooops!!!! Actually picked it up on the way back and "I" never missed it but sure had a lot of txts & voicemails :) Sorry........ hahaha

I think the input method is really good - and great for when you're driving by!

@kwzh Thanks! Will try that. I'm sure there has to be a way to do some "housekeeping".

@Scrapheap - I've tried to input prices via clicking on "gas Prices" on the top header area. I've also tried to update from my "fav" list which I'm guessing is what you guys are calling my "FSL". When using the first method I can put prices in although for some reason I couldn't seem to get "Von's" as one of my favs. I ended up being able top type it in so hopefully that will take care of that.

On the issue where I click on the "update" under the gas price on my FSL - I get a box on the left hand upper side of the site and for some reason that's the one that will only let me input the one grade. But - I'm going to see if changing any of your suggestions will aid with this problem.

Thanks Mates! Appreciate this........

Most likely, you've entered the same station into your FSL twice. (This is a reasonable thing to do, in general; I have the same station on multiple routes.)

At the top of the Members Favorite Stations section of the main page, there's a link called "Edit my favorite stations". Click that, and on the new page, find and remove the duplicate.

How are you trying to post the prices? From your FSL? Have you checked the "Click to Show/Hide reg mid premium" links?

TYVM for the info on how to find "my moderator". I was able to get off a message to him/her so we'll see. I thought this was all "one big site" and not divided up into wee sections. All sorts of new "things" to check into now. Thanks again buckeyecountry!!!!

Not really a website improvement which is what this topic is about. Been better posting your problem on your local gasbuddy site....or ask a mod.
