Overall, I like my Rav4. I do have some issues with the high rev's (lack of engine power) and the squeaking noises (from the dashboard area).

I have a 1996 Rav 4 and I liked it until two years ago when it was recalled and they put in (3) different transmissions and now the gas mileage is for the birds I use more gas then ever and they are trying to tell me that I might need a new engine very funny. The company won't admit that they did something wrong. I just try not to drive so much and they need to boost up the power it is to slow, but all and all I'll keep it for another year then maybe trade it in for a 4runner. I don't know
