If you have to worry about the repair bills, you can not afford this car. It is nice but not for me. I just need good reliable transportation.

Well, rear wheel drive will get better fuel economy than 4 wheel drive - and tire wear won't be so critical. In all, it would cost a lot less to operate than a 4 wheel drive version.

The diesel version could be quite interesting considering I have heard how efficient the diesel engines have gotten. I wonder if it has one of the 80mpg clean burning diesel engines? Definitely something to look into in the future...

I think it is nice to get rear wheel drive options on something smaller than a Lincoln Town Car, but BMW's costs are too high for initial price as well as PMs.
