A BIG CONGRATS on reaching that 2.5M mark and your nice new red big truck! : ) Wow! Truly awesome! Keep leading the way for others to follow here in GasBuddyland! Most GBs that signed up over the past 14+ years will never make it to 1M! Only 16,753 GBs out of more than 13+ million GBs have reached 1M points and their first red car! :( Others ahead of you have retired, so there is lots of room at the 3M milestone with that big red limo awaiting your arrival! Only 2,417 GBs have continued onto 3M points! Using the GasBuddy mobile app each day helps a GB keep their consecutive days almost indefinitely, and increase weekly points by 8k to 9k, as you have been doing! Keep going, don't stop now, you can go at least another 5 years, can't you? It's nice seeing you come back each day as I track your progress to that 3M milestone! Thanks buddy for your 5+ years of dedication here in GasBuddyLand! Have a nice weekend! Ron

If you are reporting prices from the stations signs, your doing it wrong. You should be driving into the station and recording the prices from the pump.

You missed a step this morning in your comment about exporting our oil: "build refineries" Thus it should read: "build refineries, increase exports of refined products, reduce deficit, increase domestic jobs, balance budget." By refining it here, we get even more jobs than we would by just exporting the crude oil.

"speculators are scum." Have you ever made an investment? Then YOU'RE a speculator just like most of us are. You should know by now it's MANIPULATORS, not speculators that are causing the problems. The news media is part of those MANIPULATING the price of oil and gas.

That's about right qwerty. Plus those of us with the experience will go with what works best and experiment a bit as well. Have a great day and week ahead.

Thank your for your comment! Being REALISTIC and understand math enough, just grade school and high school math and understanding charts is enough to see what's going to happen. They're making it bad, and it's going to be worse on top of it all. Not just with the global warming, but with oil, gas, energy, food, clothing, toiletries, etc.

"play it down the middle languageman1" I don't play it any which way, I'm just REALISTIC. You want gas to be $5 or $6 or $8 or $14 a gallon, well it's gonna be there one day, but it'll be there a lot sooner with the extreme environmentalists out there. I don't want that, even if I am in favor of all the alternatives. There's a way to do things right, and a way to not do it right and a way to soak the hell out of people and make them worse off which is what too many of them are wanting. I can't agree with it. I also know what works and how to improve thing just like I do with making computers faster or getting more 20, 35% or more fuel efficiency out of a vehicle [done it since I was a kid] and no one is going to tell me something doesn't work when it does.

Qwerty, don't tell me what I know, I didn't say think. This is a small municipal utility. I know using 7000 Kilowatt hours in a 1200 square foot house is wasteful.
