Maybe gasoline prices will far even further after the Labor Day holiday weekend as the demand for gasoline decreases afterwards.

nobody producing anything for a long weekend; consuming vast quantities of girth expanding junk food; running electron hungry TVs for long; long hours; sounds like consumption will be up even for those who don't take a trip; so with demand up; why will prices go down?

At least it's going down for a change but the gas buddy history charts suggest it could go lower based on the current news.

Nope ... $2.678/gal is not "good news." When a gallon of gasoline drops below $1.999, THAT will be "good news."

"A plunge in wholesale gasoline prices"? They could have told us what the current wholesale price actually is, while on the subject.
I get a kick out of the adjectives they always use - completely utter exaggeration. (plunge)
