Renewable and 'clean energy': Solar, wind, hydro, thermal, tidal, nuclear. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!

Since most homes in the the north in cities rely on natural gas, we are going to use more and drive up home heating costs. All these electric cars have to get there power from somewherem so lets put more demand on an overtaxed national grid. Whoops! there goes the cost of electricity. I retire in just under 5 years... I am looking strongly at living off the grid.

It makes sense and what's more important is that we are already falling behind in getting on board with renewables. It is going to cost us as a nation big time of we don't get going with renewables.

The Democratic Party has lost America. They have no chance at redemption and must be left in the waste bin of history.

what we need is no carbon tax credits and other crap designed to let you pollute higher than normal and buy from non polluters just so you can
also take away the subsidies they give to oil and use it to develop realistic clean technology and have it made from clean technology in the reasonable future so we can even get away from coal and nuclear for electricity
they say nuclear is clean but the spent radioactive rods have to be buried for decades before it deteriorates to save radiation levels

As I've said in the past, I'll say it again: "It won't be good!" I'm all for clean energy, just not the way they intend to do it or want to, as it's going to drive prices of most everything even higher still.
They're estimation for increases in energy costs, whether electricity or not, is way too low and will be much higher than they're claiming. It won't be pretty.

Regardless of what fluffy name they put on it, stay far, far away from Cap & Tax.
What's in a name? that which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet;
An Obama called by any other name is still a Hussein.
BHO & Co.
What's in a name? that which we call a traitor By any other name would destroy us all;

As soon as the new guy takes the oath of office. All of these crack pot ideas of Oboma's will be pitched in the wood burning stove to make clean energy. That big bill they sneaked in on all of us. The Oboma-care thing.... That should light up Washingto for weeks...Maybe months.

Article claims electricity price would rise average 29 % by 2035. 29% divided by 23 years equals 1.26% per year. That sounds mighty good!

Yes, phthisin, the record low temperatures in Alaska, Russia, and Europe this winter sure convinced me that "global warming" is happening! Annual seasonal temperatures have varied widely throughout history, so whenever variations continue it must be ..... "global warming!" :)
